Terms of service
Last updated 2026-10-21
These terms govern your use of CloudFile, provided by Your Company sp. z o.o. ("we"). By creating an account you accept them on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. The service is intended for business customers.
1. The service
We provide managed file transfer servers (SFTP, FTPS and FTP), storage and notifications as described on our website and in the documentation. We may improve the service over time without reducing its core functionality.
2. Trial and subscription
New accounts get a 7-day free trial. After the trial, continued use requires a paid plan. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. If payment fails, we may suspend your servers until it succeeds; your data is retained during suspension.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use the service for unlawful content, malware distribution, attacks on other systems or to infringe others' rights. You are responsible for the users you create and the credentials you share.
4. Your data
You keep all rights to the files you store. We process them only to provide the service, as your processor under Art. 28 GDPR, following your instructions given through the service. We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures and notify you without undue delay of any personal data breach.
5. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible. Support is available at [email protected].
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. This doesn't limit liability for intent or gross negligence.
7. Termination
You can cancel at any time from the billing page; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. After termination, your servers and files are deleted within 30 days.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. Courts competent for our registered office have jurisdiction.
